Go

Cross the border down the street, round the corner , unsteady feet
On the train out of my mind, places that are left behind
Friends and neighbours, cobbled streets, restless hearts, borrowed defeats
Seas of shoulders, breathless plains, forgotten faces, forgotten names
Days and nights, sudden rains, empty rooms, swallowed pains
Found and lost, bags and books, decadence in dim lit nooks
Truths and lies, and nothing real, lives not lived, inside a veil
Words spoken and not said, looking into a mirror afraid
Indecisions and burdens lie, upon shoulders, then we die
Not to try, not to know, ill find out, when I go

Yeah

You’re a sunny day
When I am afraid
Of the cold dark nights

And I will hold you tight
‘Cause you feel so right
And never let you go

And I hope you know
That I love you so
You beautiful thing

Oh and  tell me this
You’ll always say yes

When I say Let’s go anywhere

Suddenly Sunday

Trees grow old and then they die
made into paper black and white
filled with news that makes you sigh
thrown in a bin you walk on by

Memories take too much space
Tomorrows always come too late
Questions unanswered, too many whys
and mirrors can't be bribed to lie

the days come and nights they go
some arrows never leave the bow
some days you wake up and it’s suddenly Sunday
But we walk on anyway

Knees scraped and hearts are sold
the hands you held get too cold
lies told and calls are missed
can't remember the lips you’ve kissed

Kids will move and wives they'll die
you hair will grey by and by
regrets are waiting to be found
clocks will stop and you won't be around

the days come and nights they go
some arrows never leave the bow
some days you wake up and it’s suddenly Sunday
But we walk on anyway

the days come and nights they go
some arrows never leave the bow
some days you wake up and it’s suddenly Sunday
But we walk on anyway
